LAJCC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS
Overview
The Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce (LAJCC) Foundation is offering $2,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors who reflect the mission of the LAJCC and its Scholarship Program. (Recipients will also receive one-year paid student membership in the LAJCC.)
The LAJCC Scholarship Program strives to identify a well-rounded and diverse recipient group. The Program places emphasis on community service and other extra-curricular activities, academic performance, and one’s personal statement. Also, other factors are considered, such as the applicant's financial need, hardship, geographic location, and prior involvement with LAJCC projects or programs. Prior participation or involvement in LAJCC projects or programs, however, is NOT a requirement.
